Motorola has launched the Edge 40 in the UK and Europe.
The phone differs from the Edge 40 Pro in terms of horsepower and a few other areas.
Expect to pay ~$666 when the phone goes on sale in the UK.
Motorola recently launched the Edge 40 Pro in Europe and the UK, but the standard Edge 40 was nowhere to be seen. Fortunately, the company has just announced the vanilla model in the two regions.
The Motorola Edge 40 is a clear step down from the flagship-tier Edge 40 Pro in several ways. For one, the company swapped out the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset for a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 8020 processor. You’re also looking at a slightly smaller battery (4,400mAh versus the Pro model’s 4,600mAh capacity) as well as slower wired charging speeds (68W versus 125W).
