Big things are coming to Roblox, with Emmy award-winning VR specialists Baobab Studios announcing its first title for the platform, Momoguro: Momo Quest. Considering the studios’ work on Baba Yaga, Bonfire, and other exciting star-driven VR experiences, we’re pretty sure you’re going to want to check this one out.

Momoguro: Momo Quest takes place on a colourful island – known as Momo Island – that is facing an invasion from evil forces known as the Singulars. It’s up to you to team up with the island’s groovy residents to take on the Singulars in dance battles, with a host of funky movers to summon and help you get your dancing shoes tapping along to the beat.

As you can see from the trailer a little further down the page, the monsters that inhabit Momo Island are an interesting bunch. If it weren’t for the pastel palette and some killer dance moves, we might be a bit more scared of these creatures, but it’s pretty clear they mean no harm. Either way, the trailer gives us some serious Bugsnax meets My Singing Monsters vibes, which is by no means a bad thing.
