Last evening at WWDC, Apple finally disclosed the iOS 17. They have revealed interesting details about new features that are coming to Apple’s mobile operating system, like the Check-in safety feature, live voicemail transcription, and revamped caller ID names or contact posters, among other things.
But iOS 17 also comes with its drawbacks. The OS will not be compatible with all iPhones. Some of the older iPhones will not be able to update their OS to iOS 17.
The reason probably being that a new version of a software requires compatible and new generation hardware as well. But that is something you can’t change in an old iPhone.
